Zepter International is a global enterprise, which produces, sells and distributes consumer goods around the world, principally by way of direct sales, and also through stores. Zepter’s products are manufactured in 7 Zepter factories based in Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
It was established in Linz, Austria in 1986. Its founder is Philip Zepter, an entrepreneur and emigrant from Yugoslavia (today's Serbia). Due to this business he has become one of the richest Serbians with a net worth estimated at 5 billion US$. Today he resides in Monaco.
Zepter International began distributing worldwide stainless steel cookware and tableware accessories, manufactured in its own plant in Milan, Italy. In 1996, Zepter Group acquired two companies, based in Switzerland, and thus branched out into the markets of:
