Zadonsky District (Russian: Задо́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the eighteen in Lipetsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,503 square kilometers (580 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Zadonsk. Population: 34,959 (2010 Census); 37,244 (2002 Census);39,281 (1989 Census). The population of Zadonsk accounts for 27.7% of the district's total population.
