Yong Jun-hyung (born December 19, 1989), commonly known as Junhyung and also known as Poppin' Dragon and Joker, is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is a member of South Korean boy group Beast.
Junhyung was born in Seoul, South Korea. He changed his birth name Yong Jae-soon (Hangul: 용재순) to his current name when he was in 6th grade. He was once a member of the boyband Xing along with Kevin Woo from U-KISS and was known as Poppin' Dragon when he was promoting with them. He was featured in various singles as a rapper for artists such as labelmates Hyuna's "Change" and G.NA's "Kkeojyeo Julge Jar Sara" (꺼져 줄게 잘 살아, lit. I'll Back Off So You Can Live Better), Young Jee's "Crazy, that's what love is", Navi's "Go Again" and Wheesung's "Words That Freeze My Heart".
Beast (비스트, stylized as BEAST or B2ST) is a boy band from South Korea that consists of five members, under Cube Entertainment. Originally known as B2ST, an acronym for "Boys 2 Search the Top", their name was changed to BEAST (Boys of East Asia Standing Tall). They released their first extended play Beast Is The B2ST on October 14, 2009, and made their first live performance on KBS's Music Bank 2 days later.
The group has released a total of 8 extended plays: Beast Is The B2ST, Shock Of The New Era, Mastermind, Lights Go On Again, My Story, Midnight Sun, Good Luck, Ordinary and three studio albums, Fiction and Fact, Hard to Love, How to Love, Highlight.
