Yahotyn (Ukrainian: Яготин) is a city in Kiev Oblast (region) of Ukraine. It serves as the administrative centre of Yahotyn Raion. Population: 20,445 (2013 est.). In 2001, population was 23,659. In 2015, the population was 20, 232.
The village of Dvirkivschyna in Yahotyn Raion is birthplace to famous football player Andriy Shevchenko, who attended sports-school in Yahotyn.
