Westgate Resorts is an American Florida-based timeshare resort firm founded by David A. Siegel in 1982.

The company first expanded from Central Florida to Miami and Daytona Beach, then outside the State of Florida. Today, Westgate comprises 28 resorts in the United States such as Orlando, Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Park City, Utah; Williamsburg, Virginia; Miami, Florida; Branson, Missouri; Mesa, Arizona; and Tunica, Mississippi. On July 1, 2014, Westgate announced the acquisition of the LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino as the newest addition to its portfolio of resorts. Westgate also recently purchased the Cocoa Beach Pier, a historic landmark on the Space Coast built in 1962, and the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League.

Most Westgate Resorts locations feature a variety of restaurants, retail and spa shops, including Drafts Sports Bar & Grill, Westgate Smokehouse Grill, Edge Steakhouse, Westgate Marketplace & Deli and Serenity Spa by Westgate. In December 2014, Westgate Resorts broke ground on Westgate Lakes Retail Village., a new $11 million, mixed-use retail development at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida, that will feature specialty stores, as well as Edge Steakhouse, Drafts Sports Bar & Grill, Joe’s Marketplace & Deli, arcade, 32,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space, and a more than 450-space parking garage. In February 2016, Westgate added another resort property to its portfolio, Wild Bear Inn in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Wild Bear Inn is the closest Pigeon Forge hotel to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Founded in 1982, Westgate Resorts operates as a subsidiary of Central Florida Investments, Inc. (CFI), which employs over 10,000 people and has evolved into the largest privately held corporation in the Central Florida area. Siegel opened CFI, a real estate development firm, with an office located in his family garage in 1970. The Westgate family of resorts was born in 1982 with the opening of a 16-unit resort at Westgate Vacation Villas. Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa opened in 1996, followed by Westgate Towers in 1997; Westgate Town Center and Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa in 1999; Westgate Flamingo Bay in 2001; Westgate Blue Tree Resort, Westgate Park City Resort & Spa and Westgate River Ranch in 2002; and Westgate Palace and Westgate Historic Williamsburg in 2003. Westgate Resorts now encompasses more than 13,500 villas at 28 full-service resorts. Siegel was recognized as a CEO of the Year honoree by the Orlando Business Journal in 2014. In 2016 Westgate Smokeymountain Resort suffered extensive damage from a fire, rebuilting is said to have begun quickly.
