West Perry Township is a township in Snyder County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,038 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 26.4 square miles (68.4 km²), all of it land.
West Perry Township is bordered by West Beaver, Spring, Beaver and Franklin Townships to the north, Perry Township to the east and Juniata County to the south.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,038 people, 377 households, and 304 families residing in the township. The population density was 39.3 people per square mile (15.2/km²). There were 462 housing units at an average density of 17.5/sq mi (6.8/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 99.52% White, 0.19% African American, 0.10% Asian, 0.10% from other races, and 0.10% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.10% of the population.
There were 377 households out of which 33.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.8% were married couples living together, 5.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.1% were non-families. 15.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.75 and the average family size was 3.08.
