WLYF (101.5 FM, "101.5 LITE FM") is an Adult Contemporary music formatted radio station that broadcasts in Miami Gardens, Florida (the studios and transmitter are both located here). The station targets women aged 25–54. WLYF has solid ratings throughout South Florida and is a popular listen-at work-radio station due to its format and laid-back presentation.

101.5 FM first signed on the air as WWPB-FM in April 1948 as a B-EZ station, owned and operated by Paul Brake. Broadcasting Yearbook   (1949) (Retrieved August 28, 2016)

In April 1970, Sudbrink Broadcasting acquired the station. Broadcasting Yearbook   (1971) (Retrieved August 28, 2016) In December 1970, the call letters were changed to WLYF The station adopted the beautiful music format produced and distributed by Stereo Radio Productions (WLYF was known promotionally for many years as "Life," until the current "Lite FM" name was adopted). Sudbrink relocated WLYF to the WLBW television tower and increased effective radiated power to 100,000 watts. The station became the first FM radio station in a Top 25 market to achieve a number one audience rating.

In 1978, the station was sold to Storer Broadcasting. In 1979, it was purchased by Jefferson-Pilot Broadcasting (now the Lincoln Financial Group). The studio was moved to NW Second Avenue in North Dade, near what is now Sun Life Stadium.

WLYF, now known as 101.5 LITE FM, has since evolved from an Easy Listening format to a mainstream Adult Contemporary format under radio vet Rob Sidney who took the program director chair from Larry Travers when it was Easy Listening. "Today's Life Miami" is a more traditional adult contemporary format on WLYF-HD2.
