WINT (1330 AM & 101.5 FM) – branded Integrity Radio – is a commercial talk radio station licensed to Willoughby, Ohio, serving Lake County and eastern parts of Greater Cleveland. WINT is a local affiliate for the Lake County Captains--the Cleveland Indians' Class A minor league team, Notre Dame College football, Columbus Blue Jackets NHL hockey, and the exclusive northeast Ohio radio home for NASCAR with affiliations with MRN (Motor Racing Network) and PRN (Performance Racing Network). The station also broadcasts several IndyCar races each season in partnership with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network. WINT airs programs hosted by nationally syndicated personalities Sean Hannity,The Dave Ramsey Show, and The Laura Ingraham Show, Rusty Humphries' "Trending Today USA", and Dana Loesch. Several locally produced shows alo air on WINT focusing on a wide variety of topics from business, health, veterans and senior issues to tech and computers, automotives and more. WINT's highly regarded morning drive program, "The Wake Up Show" is hosted live from the studios and features interviews with local and national newsmakers, authors, politicians and celebrities.
The station first broadcast on January 27, 1965, as WELW, with its first format being religious. Subsequently, it has had Top 40, country music, oldies, and news/talk formats. WELW almost always has broadcast nationally music shows and some religious programs. Spirit Broadcasting (a Petkovsek-Somich Company) assumed ownership in February 1990, and this has been the longest ownership in station history. Over the years, the station has been honored countless times for its community service, as well as receiving Associated Press awards.
