WARV-FM (100.3 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Petersburg, Virginia and serving the Greater Richmond Region in Virginia. WARV-FM is owned and operated by Alpha Media. It airs a country music radio format and is simulcast with 98.9 WLFV in Midlothian, Virginia. WLFV covers communities to the north of Richmond and WARV-FM covers communities to the south. Together, both stations are marketed under the name "The Wolf."
Studios and offices for WARV-FM and WLFV, as well as sister station WBBT-FM are on Arboretum Place in Richmond. WLFV's transmitter is off Johnson Road in Petersburg.
On December 5, 2016, the Educational Media Foundation filed an application with the FCC to purchase both WLFV and WARV, and has already applied to flip both to their K-Love network upon the sale's completion; combined with its recent acquisition of WZEZ, EMF will improve its signal in the River City greatly with the changes.
