Verkhneuslonsky District (Russian: Верхнеусло́нский райо́н; Tatar: Cyrillic Югары Ослан районы, Latin Yuğarı Oslan rayonı) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It is located in the west of the republic. The area of the district is 1,373.9 square kilometers (530.5 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Verkhny Uslon. Population: 16,641 (2010 Census); 17,957 (2002 Census);19,894 (1989 Census). The population of Verkhny Uslon accounts for 27.0% of the district's total population.
