Vanambadi (Malayalam: വാനമ്പാടി) is an Indian Malayalam-language television drama that started airing from 30 January 2017 on Asianet channel. The show is the comeback of actress Chippy Renjith to the mini-screen who essays the main protagonist of the series.It is the remake of Telugu serial Koyilamma.
The story of the series, as the name suggests (Vanmbadi in Malayalam means nightingale, and female singers are usually referred so in India), revovles around a girl who had devoted her life fully for music.
Nandini encourages her daughter Anugraha to pursue her passion for music. However, she finds herself haunted by memories of a turbulent relationship with a famous musician.
