Urbana is the tallest residential complex ever built in Kolkata and the entire Eastern India. It will have five towers of 45 storeys and two towers of 40 storeys. The 46 storey towers will rise up to a height of 168 metres (551 ft) making them the tallest residential buildings in the city. In October 2013, one of the two 40 storied towers topped out at 152 metres (499 ft) height making it the tallest building in the city. Fifty bunglows are also the part of this project. Altogether when the project is completed, Urbana will house more than 8,000 people. The entire project will be spread on 66-acre (270,000 m2) with 33-acre (130,000 m2) of greenery.

With its own sewage pumping station and sewage treatment plant, waste water from all the buildings will be treated and recycled for gardening and washing purposes. Rainwater harvesting will be a salient feature of the complex. A car park wide enough for 5,000 cars and a commercial zone will be the other features. Besides, a centralised refuse container will collect and dispose of the 4,652 kg waste generated by residents, who are expected to consume 12.53 lakh litre of water every day. This project will also have 100,000 square feet (9,290 m2) of residential club with all modern amenities, 10 acres of Central Park, Olympic length swimming pool, Temperature controlled indoor pool, Deluxe spa, Guest room accommodations, Servants quarter provisions with every flat, Garbage Chutes, VRF Air conditioning ( By Aircon India Incorporated), Video door phone, Air conditioned design lobby and four high-speed elevators in each tower.
