Ulyanovsky District (Russian: Улья́новский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kaluga Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,655.9 square kilometers (639.3 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Ulyanovo. Population: 7,636 (2010 Census); 8,870 (2002 Census);13,095 (1989 Census). The population of Ulyanovo accounts for 39.6% of the district's total population.
