The 2018 Toronto municipal election is scheduled to be held on October 22, 2018 to elect a mayor and city councillors in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Registration for candidates for the office of mayor, councillor, and school board trustee will open on May 1, 2018.
Toronto City Council plans to add three new members to the 2018-2022 Council after approving new Ward boundaries in November 2016. Three new wards are to be created in downtown and one in North York. A by-law has to be passed before January 2018 for the boundaries to be changed before the election.
