Tim Bain is a British-Australian writer. He is known for writing comedy, children's and animated series for television. His work has been featured on Nickelodeon, Disney XD, Cartoon Network, CBBC, CBeebies, ABC3, Teletoon and Netflix.

Bain has written for comedy series including Rove and The Wedge. His children's series include Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Go Jetters, PJ Masks, Counterfeit Cat, Boyster, Tooned 50, Digby Dragon, Dennis the Menace and Gnasher, Bottersnikes and Gumbles, The New Adventures of Figaro Pho, Kuu Kuu Harajuku, Winston Steinburger and Sir Dudley Ding-Dong and Get Ace.

Bain contributed development for two CBeebies series, Numtums and Go Jetters.

Bain has written for several series that have been nominated for and won international awards. Rove won a Logie for Most Popular Light Entertainment Comedy (2009). Get Ace was nominated for an International Emmy Award (2016)[1] and Dennis the Menace and Gnasher was nominated for a Children's BAFTA (2014). Get Ace and The New Adventures of Figaro Pho were both nominated for ACCTA Awards.
