Empowered by Gospel values and rooted in the spirit and tradition of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Clare of Assisi, The Catholic High School of Baltimore, a sponsored institution of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, is dedicated to the education of young women in an environment that fosters Christian attitudes of dignity and respect for the human person and all of creation.

The school song was copyrighted in 1951 with words and music by an anonymous Sister of St. Francis. It was later renewed for the 50th Anniversary in 1988 with acknowledgment of the true author, Sister Francis Marie Yocum, OSF.
