The 2018 Texas gubernatorial election will take place on November 6, 2018, to elect the Governor of Texas, concurrently with the election of Texas's Class I U.S. Senate seat, as well as other elections to the United States Senate in other states and elections to the United States House of Representatives and various Texas and local elections. The primary for both parties will be held on March 6, 2018, making it the first primary of the 2018 season.

Incumbent Republican Governor Greg Abbott is running for re-election to a second term in office.
