State Highway 214 or SH 214 is a Texas state highway that runs from Adrian to Seminole.
The route was originally designated in 1935 from Muleshoe to Morton, and was extended from Friona to Seminole in 1939. The section from Friona south to Muleshoe was removed in 1940, only to be reinstated in 1966, replacing a former route of FM 299. In 1990 the route was extended north to its current terminus in Adrian, replacing Farm to Market Road 290 and most of FM 1412. FM 290 was originally designated on June 11, 1945 from US 66 (now I-40) to the Deaf Smith county Line. On October 26, 1954, FM 290 extended south to FM 1412, replacing FM 1956 from 5.3 miles north of FM 1412 to FM 1412.
