Tetyushsky District (Russian: Тетю́шский райо́н; Tatar: Тәтеш районы) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the forty-three in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the republic. The area of the district is 1,632 square kilometers (630 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Tetyushi. Population: 24,875 (2010 Census); 27,040 (2002 Census);27,812 (1989 Census). The population of Tetyushi accounts for 46.6% of the district's total population.
