Talho is a settlement in the central part of the island of São Nicolau, Cape Verde and is located inside the valley of Ribeira Brava. Its 2010 census population was 308. It is situated 1 km west of Ribeira Brava. It belongs to the municipality of Ribeira Brava and is in the western end of the parish of Nossa Senhora da Brava. Other nearby places includes Caleijão to the south, Cachaço to the west, both in the same parish and Queimadas to the north.
One of the hamlets is named Campo divided into Campinho Norte and Sul which are in the west and another in the east named Fajal next to RIbeira Brava's communal limits.
Being in Ribeira Brava's valley, it offers panoramic views including a part of the middle part of the island along with its nearby town which is also the island capital, the area of Monte Gordo and Monte Bissau.
FC Talho is the only football (soccer) club in the village, it covers the west of the parish.
