Tabriz County (Persian: شهرستان تبریز; Azerbaijani: təbriz şəhristanı) is a county in East Azerbaijan Province of Iran. The capital of the county is Tabriz. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 1,557,241, in 423,775 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Khosrowshahr District. The county has five cities: Tabriz, Basmenj, Sardrud, Malek Kian, and Khosrowshahr.
