TGV Cinemas Sdn Bhd (doing business as TGV Cinemas; formerly known as Tanjong Golden Village) is the second largest cinema chain in Malaysia. As of March 2015, TGV Cinemas has 32 multiplexes with 235 screens and more than 45,000 seats. TGV Cinemas is headquartered at Maxis Tower, Kuala Lumpur.
The biggest TGV cinema is located in Sunway Pyramid, with 12 screens and 2598 seats. The second largest TGV cinema is TGV Suria KLCC with 12 screens and 2459 seats. It was previously the largest TGV outlet before substituted by TGV Sunway Pyramid after renovation which included an IMAX hall, 2 TGV Club and 1 TGV Beanieplex.
Beanieplex (also known as 'the bean bag hall'), which the seats are all replaced by bean bags cushion where moviegoers will be able to experience their movies in the comfort of bean bag cushion, is available at TGV Sunway Pyramid, TGV ÆON Bukit Indah Shopping Centre, TGV 1Utama,TGV Setiawalk Mall, TGV ÆON Tebrau City Shopping Centre, TGV 1st Avenue, TGV Suria KLCC, TGV Gurney Paragon, TGV ÆON Klebang, TGV [[Sunway Putra Mall], TGV ÆON Taiping and TGV Vivacity Megamall. TGV Luxe is intended for viewers whom are seeking luxury when watching their favourite movies. TGV Luxe is currently located in only three TGV outlets, TGV 1Utama, TGV Bukit Indah and TGV Sunway Pyramid.
TGV Cinemas launched their first IMAX hall in TGV Sunway Pyramid on 15 December 2011. It is also the only IMAX hall in the country after the ceased operation IMAX hall located in Berjaya Times Square, where the original location has been replaced by GSC MAXX. The first movie shown in the IMAX hall is . According to the official TGV Facebook page, the IMAX hall was built by combining Hall 6 and Hall 7.
Meanwhile, the old TGV Cinemas at 1 Utama which had been in renovation for over a year was relocated from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor. it is now the largest TGV cinema in Malaysia with 12 halls. TGV Cinemas' second IMAX hall is located there. The cinema was opened on 13 December 2012 and the IMAX hall is larger than the one in Sunway Pyramid. TGV has also introduced their new cinema hall type known as TGV Indulge, which is more luxurious than TGV Luxe.
