1 Utama Shopping Centre is situated in Bandar Utama Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Its gross built-up area totals 5,000,000 square feet (465,000 m²). It is the largest shopping mall in Malaysia and the seventh largest in the world.

This shopping centre has the largest rooftop garden in Southeast Asia (30,000 sqft), two film houses (Golden Screen Cinemas and TGV Cinemas), a 36-lane bowling alley, an arcade centre (Cross Fire), two karaoke centres and a spaceship-themed kids' play land.

There are four recreational sporting activity centres, such as rock climbing (Camp 5), baseball batting cages (It's a Hit! Batting Cages), futsal (Padang - Futsal court) and a diving academy (Seatlantis Dive Centre).

Electric Vehicle (EV) owners can now recharge their batteries at the mall's new charging station. The fully automated station, equipped with a Delta charger, is located on the fourth floor of the mall’s Oval carpark entrance near Cellini furniture store and is only exclusive for One Card 3.0 members.

Between 2004 and 2011, the Old Wing of the complex was managed by AEON, which was also the anchor tenant of the Old Wing. Following the expiration of the management contract of Phase 1, AEON closed its One Utama outlet for six months before re-opening while Bandar Utama, owner of 1 Utama takes over the management for Phase 1.

1 Utama receives roughly 60,000 to 90,000 visitors every weekday, and as many as 120,000 on weekends according to the management. Its occupancy rate is 98%.

1 Utama was named "Shopping Complex of the Year" at the Retail World Excellence Awards 2006/07. In 2006, 1 First Avenue, a 30-storey corporate office tower (occupied by IBM, Schlumberger and KPMG) was completed and the 428-room 5-star One World Hotel attached to the centre opened the following year.
