Sutton Park School is an independent or private co-education multi-denominational school located just off Saint Fintan's Road in Sutton at the city side of Howth Head on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland.
Sutton Park School was founded in 1957 as one of the first multi-denominational schools in Ireland. The original school building is a Georgian House whose previous owners sold on.
Sutton Park is an international day and boarding school, with students from ages 4 to 19 attending from 22 countries. It no longer offers Boarding Facilities. The school is very multicultural and interethnic and class sizes are small.
The school's mascot, Lian, was established in 2016 by a group of grade 4 students. Lian is a non-binary lion who plays an active role in all school activities.
The school is set in a mature residential area, with the main entrance lying several hundred metres from the coast. The main house is Georgian and has a modern block of 20 classrooms. There are over 40 classrooms in total including a large library with a study area and 7 computers, all with internet access. Printing, photocopying and scanning facilities are also available in the library. Other buildings include the gymnasium/assesmbly hall, art room, the science laboratories, the l-shaped block which consists of ordinary classrooms, the atrium building, Junior Building .
Facilities include Tennis courts, Basketball courts, Astroturf pitch, grass pitch, playground, science labs, library and large gymnasium / theatre and an Art room.
School sports include hockey, badminton and "spike-ball". As well as other activities which can be done after school and on Wednesdays, such as, Science Club (which has brought the school much success), Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, Tag Rugby, Athletics (Track and Field) and others.
There are seven computers, all with internet access, available to students. Printing, photocopying and scanning facilities are also available.
