Surada (also known as Sorada or Suruda or Soroda) is a town which is a Notified Area Council and it is the headquarter of Surada Block which area is about 2663.89 km2 under the Bhanjanagar Sub-division in Ganjam district in the Indian state of Odisha. Surada Block consists of 364 villages, 25 Grama Panchayats and Surada (N.A.C.).

Surada has an average literacy rate of 63%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 54%. In Surada, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
