Sukma district
Sukma district is the newly formed, southernmost district in Chhattisgarh South Bastar Region, India. It is located on the southernmost area of Chhattisgarh mainly known as Bastar. It is bordered by Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.The district is one of the least developed districts of India (Bharat). The Sukma district is affected by Naxalism or Maoism.
Sukma town is connected to Jagdalpur by National Highway 221 (New number NH -30)and Chintoor in Andhra Pradesh state. The Sukma district borders with Orissa (Malkangiri district),Andhra pradesh ( East Godavari district ) and Telangana(Khammam district).
