Sudzhansky District (Russian: Суджанский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 996 square kilometers (385 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Sudzha. Population: 26,964 (2010 Census); 31,466 (2002 Census);34,438 (1989 Census). The population of Sudzha accounts for 22.4% of the district's total population.
