Steady Mobb'n was an American hip hop duo composed of Crooked Eye and Billy Bavgate, from the Ghost Town section of West Oakland. The duo were formally signed to No Limit Records & Bomb Shelter Entertainment in the late 1990s.

In 1995 Steady Mobb'n would release a cassette EP titled, Blood Money. In 1997 the duo would sign to rapper/entrepreneur Master P's record label No Limit Records, they would later make their first mainstream appearance in their collaboration single with Master P titled "If I Could Change" produced by No Limit Records in-house producer DJ Daryl which was the hit single from their debut album Pre-Meditated Drama, Master P would later be added to the song & it would be used it as the first single from the I'm Bout It: Music from the Motion Picture, the album was a success and made it to number 29 on the Billboard 200 and number 6 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The following year, Steady Mobb'n would release their second album titled Black Mafia, only making it to number 82 on the Billboard 200. Master P severed all ties thereafter and the duo went their own way.

In 2003 Steady Mobb'n would release their fourth album titled Espionage via their newly started label at the time Black Mafia Records & Big Body Records.

In 2015 the duo would reunite and would release their first single titled "West Coast" featuring Studio Mike and would also released a music video for the song, they are currently planning to work on their upcoming fifth album Controversy coming soon.

Billy Bathgate then changed his name to Bavgate and is now signed to Thizz Entertainment, he has made numerous appearances on compilations released by the label.
