Star Wars: Demolition is a vehicular combat game set in the Star Wars universe created by both Luxoflux and LucasArts using the Vigilante 8 game engine. The story of it occurs after the Empire declares they've officially banned Jabba the Hutt's podraces but nevertheless Jabba creates a more life-threatening contest similar to Twisted Metal to take over the position of podracing. This game had been released on both the Sony PlayStation and the Sega Dreamcast. It was released on PlayStation on November 12, 2000 and on November 19, 2000 for the Dreamcast.
The game was met with average to mixed reception upon release. GameRankings and Metacritic gave it a score of 67.75% and 63 out of 100 for the PlayStation version, and 65.62% and 67 out of 100 for the Dreamcast version.
