"Someone Else's Eyes" is a song by French singer Amanda Lear released in 2009 by Just Good Music For Your Ears.
"Someone Else's Eyes" features Italian singer Deadstar (Enrico Petrelli), who wrote both music and lyrics as well as produced the song. It is a mid-tempo pop song, lyrically a break-up track. "Someone Else's Eyes" premiered on 27 July 2009 as the lead and the only single from Lear's 2009 album Brief Encounters. It was re-released in May 2010 with numerous remixes by Boy George and Kinky Roland, promoting the "Reloaded" edition of Brief Encounters.
The single B-side on the original 2009 release was another Brief Encounters track, "Secret Lover", a slow-paced piano song. On 2010 maxi single a remixed version of "Doin' Fine" was released.
The official music video for the track was shot in April 2009 in Rome, Italy by Fabio Tibaldi at Studio 154. It pictures Amanda Lear and Deadstar singing the song in front of a white background.
