"Slow Hands" is a song by New York City-based post-punk revival band Interpol and is featured on the band's second album, Antics. The song was written by Carlos Dengler, Daniel Kessler, Paul Banks, and Sam Fogarino.
It was released on September 13, 2004 as the lead single from that album, charting at #36 on the UK Singles Chart and #15 on Billboard magazine's Modern Rock Tracks chart (see 2005 in music). The world premiere broadcast of the song on radio was by Los Angeles, California station KROQ-FM. In Australia, the song was ranked #74 on Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2004. In June 2005, the song was re-issued as the final single from Antics, charting at #44 on the UK Singles Chart.
The music video for "Slow Hands" was directed by Daniel Levi.
The song was featured in the video game True Crime: New York City, Gilmore Girls episode 4 season 5, and the second episode of the second season of Entourage, titled My Maserati Does 185.
It was also featured in a 2008 Emporio Armani Diamonds For Men commercial starring Josh Hartnett.
