Shobu Yarlagadda (born 19 March 1971) is an Indian American film producer, and the son-in-law of veteran film maker K. Raghavendra Rao. He is the co-founder and CEO of Arka Mediaworks, a film production company known for its works exclusively in Telugu cinema. Shobhu has garnered the National Film Award, two state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare South Awards. In 2015, Shobhu produced Baahubali: The Beginning, which recorded the highest grossing Indian film within India. Touted to be the most expensive Indian film, the film was featured in the BBC's documentary on 100 Years of Indian cinema.

Baahubali: The Beginning, was screened at the Open Cinema Strand of Busan International Film Festival, Indian Film Festival The Hague,Sitges Film Festival in Spain,Utopiales Film Festival in France,Golden Horse Film Festival in Taipei, Taiwan,Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, in Paris, Five Flavours Film Festival in Poland,Hawaii International Film Festival in Honolulu, Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival in Brussels, Belgium, and the Cannes Film Festival. The film has garnered the Best Feature Film, and the Best Special Effects at the 63rd National Film Awards. The film was also nominated for five categories at the 42nd Saturn Awards.
