Segheneytī (sometimes anglicized as Segheneity and known also as Saganeiti, Seganeiti, Seganeyti, Segeleyti, Segeneyti, Segeneytī, Segheneiti) is a small town in the Southern Region of Eritrea. The town lies on the road between Asmara and Senafe.
It is the seat of the bishopric Eritrean Catholic Eparchy of Segheneyti, a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archeparchy of Asmara in the Uniate church of Eritrea. And also some minority. Muslims live near the shopping center.
