Saptagiri (born Venkata Prabhu Prasad) (Telugu: సప్తగిరి) is a Telugu comedian who hails from Punganur, Chittoor Dt. His actual name was Venkata Prabhu Prasad, later he changed his name to Sapthagiri because of an incident happened in Tirumala. He started film acting career with Bhaskar's film Parugu. He used to work as an assistant director before acting. Saptagiri earned name as Mini Brahmanandam in terms of remuneration and fame in low budget comedy movies.
