SEGi University & Colleges (commonly referred to as SEGi) is a private tertiary institution located in Kota Damansara, Selangor. SEGi is one of the largest private higher education providers in Malaysia. Previously, it was known as SEGi University College until 2012, when the Ministry of Education announced its upgrade to university status. SEGi has a total of 5 campuses, which are located in UEP Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Sarawak.
SEGi offers a wide range of high-quality certificate, diploma, bachelor's degree and postgraduate qualifications in numerous subjects including Business and Accounting, Health Sciences, Engineering and The Built Environment, Creative Arts and Design, Communication Studies, Law, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), and American Transfer Program (4+0 in collaboration with Troy University), among others.
Over the years, the institution has successfully developed and strengthened collaboration with a host of reputable universities and key players from different industries to promote academia-industry initiatives. Some of the bachelor's degree programmes available in SEGi are in collaboration with renowned universities in United Kingdom, USA and Australia, to provide a globalised learning experience for the students.
Some of their partner universities are Abertay University, University of Sunderland, University of St Mark and St John, Keele University, University of Greenwich, Cardiff University, and University of London, all from the United Kingdom; University of Southern Queensland, Australia and Troy University, and some newer partners are University of Toledo, University of Wyoming, University at Albany and Minnesota State University in the United States.
