Russian Canadians comprise Canadian citizens of Russian heritage or Russians who emigrated to and reside in Canada. According to the 2011 Census, there were 550,520 Canadians who claimed full or partial Russian ancestry. The closely related groups are Ukrainian Canadians, the many East Slavic Canadians who also have Ukrainian ancestry, and Belarusian Canadians, the few East Slavic Canadians who also have Belarusian ancestry.
