Rumpt (51°53′N 5°11′E / 51.883°N 5.183°E / 51.883; 5.183) is a village in the Betuwe region in the Netherlands. It is a part of the municipality of Geldermalsen, and is situated about halfway between Utrecht and Den Bosch, on the Linge river.

In 2001, the town of Rumpt had 372 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.14 km², and contained 149 residences. The statistical area "Rumpt", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 892.

Rumpt was first mentioned as Rumpst around the year 960 in a document listing the possessions of St. Martin's Church in Utrecht. Other names used for the village and the surrounding areas in historical documents were Rumede, Romde en Rumt.
