The Rompin District (Chinese: 云冰) is a district and a parliamentary constituency located in the southeastern corner of Pahang, Malaysia. Rompin is currently developed by Rompin District Council(Majlis Daerah Rompin)

The district covers an area of 5,296 km and located 130 kilometres from Kuantan, the capital city of Pahang. It is bordered to the north by Pekan, to the west by Bera, to the south by Johor, and to the east by the South China Sea. The capital city of the district is Kuala Rompin. The Department of Statistics Malaysia estimates the population of Rompin was 110,286 on 2010.

Rompin is home to the island resort of Tioman Island.

Rompin was believed opened by Datuk Pahlawan Ahmad in 1888, as small fishing village.

Rompin is a constituency in the Dewan Rakyat of the Malaysian Parliament. The current Member of Parliament is Dato' Hasan bin Arifin of UMNO (part of the federal ruling coalition Barisan Nasional), replacing Jamaluddin Jarjis who died in a helicopter crash in May 2015.

In turn, Rompin contributes three seats to the Pahang State Legislative Assembly, namely:

Highway Jkr-ft3.png is the main thoroughfare through this constituency. Southwards it goes all the way to Johor Bahru; northwards it leads first to the royal capital Pekan, then the state capital Kuantan, then through Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu. Route Jkr-ft63.png is another important route for the constituency; it begins at the junction with highway Jkr-ft3.png near Kuala Rompin, runs through Bandar Muadzam Shah before ending at Bukit Ibam.
