Roman Forest is a town in Montgomery County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,538 at the 2010 census.
Presently, the mayor of Roman Forest is Chris Parr. City council members are Tony Garza, Jill Carlson, David Mullane, John Ryder, and Conley Wallace. City Secretary is Sheryl Muro, and the City Administrator is Liz Mullane. City Council meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at Roman Forest City Hall.
The city of Roman Forest operates its own police department. There are seven full-time sworn police officers, one part-time sworn police officer, eight sworn reserve police officers, one Animal Control Officer, and one Secretary/Telecommunications Officer.
