Rivignano was a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,269 and an area of 30.5 square kilometres (11.8 sq mi).
The municipality of Rivignano contained the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ariis, Flambruzzo, Sivigliano, and Sella.
Rivignano bordered the following municipalities: Bertiolo, Pocenia, Ronchis, Talmassons, Teor, Varmo.
Since January 1, 2014 Rivignano has been merged with Teor, forming a new municipality called Rivignano Teor.
