Riverdale is a village in Buffalo County, in the state of Nebraska, in the Midwestern United States. It is part of the Kearney, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 182 at the 2010 census.

Riverdale was laid out in 1890 when the Kearney and Black Hills Railway was extended to that point. It was named from its scenic setting in the valley of the Platte River.

Riverdale is located at 40°47′4″N 99°9′42″W / 40.78444°N 99.16167°W / 40.78444; -99.16167 (40.784503, -99.161735).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.26 square miles (0.67 km2), all of it land.

As of the census of 2010, there were 182 people, 73 households, and 54 families residing in the village. The population density was 700.0 inhabitants per square mile (270.3/km2).
