The school promotes fine arts, and holds an annual exhibition of student work every July in the school Art Department.

The school also recently built a large new theatre, called the Richard Challoner Studio Theatre. The theatre was officially opened by the Hungarian Ambassador in 2008. Various productions are firstly performed there, including 'Oliver', 'The Government Inspector', 'Antigone','Robin Hood', 'Sherlock Holmes: And the Pearls of Death', 'Chaplin: The Early Years' and 'Romeo and Juliet', and then performed, on tour, in various theatre's in Hungary - Such as the Kolibri. Many of the plays are written by their veteran Drama teacher Mr. N Zoladkiewicz.

The school also performs musicals and the most recent was "Grease Lightning" in April 2016, which involved the Willson Academy of Performing Arts. In addition, the school regularly performs small music events to showcase student's work.

Usual school days are from 08:40 - 15:20, and consist of 7 lessons (most varying in length). Each year group is split into six tutor groups, which make up the houses. Each tutor group has a form tutor who will stay with their class throughout that year, this changes every year but the students within each form stay the same. The house system aims to reward pupils by making them compete in various events, which account to points, with the winning house being given a day off. In addition, each year is split into two groups (randomly), which is further divided into three ability-based classes. All students wear a school uniform except the sixth form, who have a smart work dress code.
