Revathy Kalamandhir is a Malayalam Movie Production house, founded by Malayalam producer G Suresh Kumar in 1993. Twenty five films had been produced under the banner. The latest release was the movie Chattakaari, which was a remake of the 1974 movie Chattakari. The film was shot in a record of 25 days
After completing B.Com, G Suresh Kumar turned his attention to the realm of film production, through a debut venture of a Tamil movie titled 'Karaye Thodaathae Alaigal,' under the banner of 'Bhanumathy Films' in the year 1980. Vijayan and Menaka was assigned the main role in this film. The script was by Priyadarshan, who doubled up as Production Controller. Suresh's friend Asok Kumar was to be the director. Suresh's uncle Ramachandra Menon gave financial support for this movie, but the project was abandoned. After this, Suresh Kumar joined hands with Sanal Kumar to produce films under a new banner, 'Sooryodaya Creations' in the year 1981. Coolie, Poochakkoru Mookkuthi , Odaruthammava Aalariyam, Ayalvasi Oru Daridravasi, Akkare Ninnoru Maran, Rakkuyilin Ragasadassil, Charithram, and Vishnulokam, are the films produced under this banner. Sooryodaya Creations later became Revathy Kalamandhir, in 1993.
