Red Butte is a census-designated place (CDP) in Natrona County, Wyoming, United States. It is part of the Casper, Wyoming Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 449 at the 2010 census.

Red Butte is located at 42°48′23″N 106°25′58″W / 42.80639°N 106.43278°W / 42.80639; -106.43278 (42.806414, -106.432671).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²), of which, 0.43 square miles (1.1 km²) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (7.06%) is water.
