Ranjitha (born Sri Valli) is an Indian film and television actress. She has acted in a number of Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films. Her first film was a Telugu film titled Kadapa Reddemma. She made her Tamil film debut in the 1992 Bharathiraja film Nadodi Thendral. She played lead roles in Tamil films till 1999.
She got married to Army Major Rakesh Menon in 2000. She briefly retired from acting after her wedding. Since her comeback in 2001, she has been acting in supporting roles in films and lead roles in television shows. She also met with controversy after an alleged link with Swami Nithyananda. Sun TV had released a video of Ranjitha in amourous state with Swami Nithyananda.
She got separated from husband Rakesh Menon in 2007. On Dec 27th, 2013 she took up sannyasa under Swami Nithyananda. She took the name "Nithyananda Moyi." Right now she is serving as a Sri Mahant at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham.
Ranjitha was born as Sri Valli on 4 June 1975. She married Major Rakesh Menon in 2000.
