Quesada is a town located in the province of Jaén, southern Spain. La Cañada de las Fuentes, which is in the same municipality, is the headwaters of Guadalquivir.
The Tíscar castle is in a ruined state, but nearby is the Cueva del Agua, a cave where there is an impressive waterfall and where it is said that the Virgin Mary of Tíscar appeared.
The area's economy is agriculture-based, primarily on olives. There is an annual summer festival from August 23 until August 28.
