Povorinsky District (Russian: Пово́ринский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,066 square kilometers (412 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Povorino. Population: 34,030 (2010 Census);17,475 (2002 Census);18,325 (1989 Census). The population of Povorino accounts for 52.0% of the district's total population.
