Point Pleasant is a city in and the county seat of Mason County, West Virginia, USA, at the confluence of the Ohio and Kanawha Rivers. The population was 4,350 at the 2010 census. It is the principal city of the Point Pleasant, WV-OH Micropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.10 square miles (8.03 km2), of which, 2.40 square miles (6.22 km2) is land and 0.70 square miles (1.81 km2) is water.

Point Pleasant is located at 38°51′27″N 82°7′43″W / 38.85750°N 82.12861°W / 38.85750; -82.12861 (38.857527, -82.128571).

Point Pleasant is home to Tu-Endie-Wei State Park and Krodel Park.

As of the census of 2010, there were 4,350 people, 2,014 households, and 1,162 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,812.5 inhabitants per square mile (699.8/km2). There were 2,244 housing units at an average density of 935.0 per square mile (361.0/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 95.9% White, 1.3% African American, 0.3% Native American, 0.6% Asian, 0.3% Pacific Islander, and 1.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.6% of the population.
