Starting Monday 7 January 2013, Taggart, alongside Alice Levine, took over the prestigious 10 pm-midnight show, Monday to Thursday, on Radio 1. The show was described by the BBC as "an energetic mix of specialist and upfront new music, entertainment and guests."
