Peumerit (Breton: Purid French pronunciation: [pømeʁit]) formerly Peumérit, is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north-western France.
Inhabitants of Peumerit are called in French Peuméritois.
The municipality launched a linguistic plan through Ya d'ar brezhoneg on 9 June 2006.
